Alex and Casey’s wedding in Guernsey was a day full of love, emotion, and connection – even across oceans.

With Casey’s family and friends unable to travel from Australia due to lockdowns, the day had an extra layer of meaning. It was intimate and deeply personal, surrounded by close loved ones on the island, and full of thoughtful touches that made everyone – near and far – feel part of it.

From the quiet anticipation of the morning to the beautiful ceremony, there was such a sense of togetherness and gratitude running through every moment.

Alex and Casey handled the challenges of distance with so much grace and positivity, and you could see how strong their bond was in the way they laughed, supported, and celebrated each other all day long.

Even though some chairs remained empty, the love and joy that filled the room made it clear that no one was really far away. As the evening went on and the celebrations unfolded, it became less about what was missing and more about everything they had – a couple deeply in love, surrounded by warmth, laughter, and the promise of so many adventures still to come. Filming and editing their day was an absolute privilege – a reminder of how love finds a way, even when the world feels far apart.
